This site is under construction, but will include content which is of personal interest to me, Scott Derksen (derksens). I have hobbies in music, (drummer) electronics, computer technology and motorcycles.

I will also use this site as a meeting place for family members to whom I have provided security credentials for login and use of the family listserv. If you are a member of the family and you have gotten the e-mail with your password, click the menu item above and log in to gain access to the family content.

I received notification last August that beatnik (a fellow electronic drummer) was planning to close down his site due to hosting arrangements. I have made an agreement with him to mirror the content here at derksens.com so that it can continue to be used by drummers around the world.

Although I have owned the derksens domain for quite some time, It was an auspicious day in August of 2001 which finally motivated me to "flip the switch" and get the site running.
